[DL] playing with sharp objects.



Bringing knives to gun fights.

Pistol Bayonet. 
?For up close and personal, when your bullets are gone and they?re at 
your throat.?

A small spring loaded knife blade that may be attacked to most pistols 
with the Gunsmith skill (5), the blade folds outs from above to a length 
of 7 inches of sharpened steel.
The knife may be sprung with a flick of the thumb taking one action, or 
it may be activated by firing the last shot in a special cylinder ($6), 
the special cylinder adds +2 to the difficulty of Speedloading an entire 
new cylinder. Attaching the Bayonet adds +2 to the difficulty of quick 
drawing, unless using a specially made Holster ($8).

Damage: Str + 1d6

Minor: Blade jams, requires Tinkerin? roll (3) to repair.
Major: Blade goes flying across room. Tinkerin? (8) to repair.
Catastrophe: Blade becomes off set and now blocks front of barrel when 
extended. If fired with blade extended, pistol is destroyed and holder 
take normal pistol damage to the arm he is holding it with. 

Scattergun Bayonet.
A large spear like blade attacked to the front of a scattergun to finish 
off anything that 6d6 don?t kill. Tinkerin? roll (5) to attach.

Scattergun Bayonet.
Reliability: NA (no moving parts or new tech involved.)
