I'm sure that there are countless weapons stores that the characters could
find where some of these weapons could be found. The primary long term
storage methods for weapons in the US today is underground bunkers which
will survive nuclear attacks.
I was mostly disappointed that mortars weren't included. They are very low
tech. All you need is a steel tube, some explosives and a primer (Plus some
knowledge) and you're all set.
