I hope they don't plan on setting Lost Colony at the same time period as
HoE.  That doesn't require a whole new RPG, just a new, extensive worldbook.
I'd much prefer LC to differ from HOE as much as HOE differs from Deadlands.

My take on the matter is that Lost Colony takes place at the same time as
HoE. Either just before the gate is destroyed or just after. I do not see
interplanetary travel and even if there was, I do not see diplomacy being a
big factor since we would be introducing the Reckoners to their worlds.
