Think about this is today's terms. Your sitting in your Air Conditioned
home relaxing in a big comfy chair in for of your PC, when all of the sudden
your hear a pop. You look and see that your PC has zonked due to the EMP.
Then everything goes black. And things start blowing up.
After you dust yourself off, you wonder out side and realize that everything
has been destroyed. I don't know about you, but that would scare the crap
out of me. Now add seeing people who have been horribly mutated to the
equation.
So your cushy life is over. You have to learn to hunt and scavenge for
food. If you're like me, you never were too good of a shot with a rifle
(let alone own one), so surviving is going to be pretty tough, let alone
defending yourself against whatever else is out there and hungry, too!
Now, we all watch discovery channel know about Big Foot. He seems to be a
friendly sort of fellow. So, you and your mutated buddies are wondering
around in the woods and you see a suasquatch. I don't know about you, but
given all of the other events which have occurred that would scare the
bejesus out of me!
At least that's the way I see it
