Simon, now warming up to the bartender (much to the exasperation of some
patrons), slips a moment to reminisce.  Before the WAR they had these
things called "role-playing games" and I remember one in particular:

Just a note of thanks to Shane for the reference to Sgt. J. Stryker on
pg. 8 of the HoE book.  He was my favorite character from the Shatterzone
game.  I don't know if that was intentional but I think it's pretty cool
anyway.  Poor guy just can't seem to get away from the corporate
military.  How's the arm?

The armor in the picture looks pretty similar to Brodie suits also.
