[HoE] Ash for HOE
Here's something that's purely for fun, feel free to use it if you like.
(You can put it on yer web-site just give me, John M. Davis credit...)
Ash
(A reluctant hero in the Wasted West)
Ash, that is the only name he now knows, has been through hell, and he knows
it. It all started about 100 years ago, when he and his girlfriend went to
an old cabin in the woods for a weekend together. While in the cabin, the
two of them stumbled on a book, The Necronomnicron, (See below) and read it.
This allowed the reckoners to send down a few of their minions, and raise a
little hell. Ash survived this encounter, but slowly started to loose his
mind. (The accounts of this event are in the movie slug, Army of Evil Dead)
After returning home, Ash scared up some of his friends and returned to the
cabin, looking for his girlfriend. Well, unknowns to them, the reckoners
were up to their dirty work, and had converted the area around the cabin
into a small deadland. Everyone in the group but Ash died. Ash was
infected with the evil, but he managed to contain it by cutting off his
hand. When ash was the only one left, the reckoners decided that they were
sick of this boy killing off their minions, and sent him back in time to the
Dark Ages. (Evil Dead II - with a few twists)
Ash did not take this very well, and sporting a chainsaw and a sawed off
shot gun, managed to save Arthur's kingdom from an evil version of himself,
and an army of Walking dead. In gratitude, Arthur's wizard cast a spell
from the Necronomnicron to send Ash home, but the spell misfired and he
ended up on earth just a few weeks ago. (Evil Dead III-Army of Darkness)
Ash is more than a little pissed off. He's tired, he wants to return to his
own time, and he wants a good beer. When he realized that the Reckoners
were behind his torment, he decided he will raise an "Army of Light" to
defeat them when they show their faces in the Wasted West again. Today he
wanders in a modified 1900's auto, recruiting people into his army. He has
already spoken with Simon, the head of the Templars, and with Coot Jenkins,
who have agreed to help him.

The Necronomnicron
A relic of the Wasted West
Description: This is an ancient tome, bound in leather (the leather
actually is human flesh). This is a wizard's book that has managed to
survive from ancient Greece.
Powers: This book is a Hucksters, or a Witches dream. It has every spell
from Hucksters and Hexes, Quick and the Dead (Black Magic) and The Wasted
West, and they are not coded!
Taint: Users of this book hasten on the path of becoming a servitor of one
of the Reckoners. (Marshal's Choice). The book slowly warps the users into
pure evil beings.
The book got separated from Ash when he was sent to the future, no one know
where it is, or who has it now.
