if you're including Dark Tower stuff you've got to include Blaine the 
Monorail - too cool to waste. inside the tower - how about relics from 
the first true gunslinger, either pick someone out of weird west history 
or pick one of the characters ancestors. even better - both, the 
character is a descendant of Doc Holliday or some such. hmmm - might use 
that myself some day :)

hmmm...... lovely plot setup but i can't see how the girl would survive 
being dragged through the storm - (hehe back to the Kid archetype & its 
wind hehe). maybe include that ComSat saw her being dragged into a lead 
box - easier to track that way. okay, as for the storm.... maybe it 
covers an underground entrance. hey - maybe ComSats got it all wrong and 
the girl is actually being saved - a bunch of survivors have started a 
subterranean civilisation and are saving the girl. this could give the 
characters a good hidey hole (presuming they don't go in guns blazing).
