[HoE] Real Life (TM) vs. Games

Trust me, no matter how "real" they make it on TV (even those uncensored
documentaries) it's still not the same. Can you smell someone who's been
eviscerated on TV? Smell is a major factor. I've come up on scenes and
before I could even see it I could smell the blood and I just knew it was
going to be a bad one.

I won't even go into what it takes to shoot another person (or even harder
to stick a knife in them). That's what made many of the gunfighters in the
old west. It's not that they were that much faster than their opponent,
it's just that they had what it takes to kill without hesitation.

If you really want to make Deadlands realistic have your players make a
guts roll before they can fire...
