Damage does not equal wounds. Once you have a damage total (in your case 11,
but you didn't reroll the 6, so it was probably higher), divide by the
target's size. In most cases, human-sized targets have a size of 6, not 5.
So 11 damage would cause 1 wound level of damage (you round down when
determining wounds... you don't do 2 wound levels until you get 12 damage).
Thus, a person's size determines how much damage constitutes a wound. 6 =
light, 12 = heavy, 18 = serious, and so on.
Once you have determined how many wounds, roll 1d6 wind for each wound and
reroll any aces. Thus, you're much more likely to wind up winded than dead.
