[HoE] Tech Level

Howdy,
	I was just wondering if anybody else had a problem with the tech level in
the game.  While I love it and am willing to ignore this problem, it still
bothers me.  I mean, the Reckoning was in 2081, and by this time, they had
barely stepped beyond our current tech level.  You would expect with Mad
Scientists around, they would have moved past our current tech level
sometime in the 1950's-60's.  So what, they stagnated for 120 years.
Anyway, rant over, I was just wondering what you guys thought.
