Re: [HoE] Surprise rule question (Shane?)

Yesterday I was running my first HoE session and one of my players busted on a
surprise check (things like that happen with only 1 die).  I've played
Deadlands for a year and a half and HoE for a few months now, but this has
never happened.  I checked the book and nothing was mentioned about it, so I
decided to just have the character miss an additional round (2).  Is there an
official decision on this?
