[HoE] New Witch Spells

  Here are the  new witch spells I designed, but note that they have
not been play tested yet.  So use and abuse as you will.

Communicate With The Dead

TN 5
Components: The corpse being questioned and a bowl of human blood.
Scroungin': Automatic if in an area with human remains and the witch
can cut herself or another for 1d6 wind for the blood.  Otherwise the
roll is 3 for human remains in a populated or formerly populated area
and 3 for a bowl.

   When a witch cast this spell the corpse begins to speak, answering
one question per success and raise.  All who see this happen,
including the witch must make an Onerous (7) Guts check.
  This spell can only be cast once on any corpse ever and the corpse
can not be animated or undead during the casting.  This spell doesn't
guarentee that the corpse will be truthful.
  Note: The corpse and bowl are not consumed in the casting.

Find Potable Water

TN 5
Components: A forked branch
Scroungin': 3

  This spell allows a witch to find drinkable water, such as a stream
or spring.  It will lead to the closest source of water, although it
may be necessary to dig for the water source.

Fortune Telling

TN 7
Components: A dozen small bones, a dozen water-smoothed pebbles or
other similar items.
Scroungin': 3

  By asking a question and throwing down the objects , the witch can
read a persons fortune.  The information gained is based upon the
success of the spell cast, for example: A woman ask the witch if she
will ever marry, the witch cast the spell and gets the following
information, based upon her success.
  Botch        False information-No never.
  Failure       Don't know.
  Success    Yes.
  +1 Raise   Within a year.
  +2 Raises  You will marry a travelling merchant.
  +3 Raises  He will 5 years older than you.
   More raises gain  more information.

  That is all for now, if anyone is interested I will create some more
