    If you think that a lot of the stuff in some of the HoE books isn't worth
using, then leave it out.  (I doubt that anyone uses much of what they stuff in
these source books) The advantage (the entire point of!) an RPG is that YOU can
put whatever flavor you want on the game. (why do we call it flavor anyways, I've
never eaten a source book...)
