Re: [HoE] Doomsayers & templars que
As for how you could get the Doomsayer the radiation he needed in the
Wierd West, there's always tyhe option of having him take back an
irradiated object with him. Obviously, it'll have to be small enough to be
both portable and inconspicuous, but as long as he's feeding off most of
the radiation and he keeps it in a fairly remote location when he isn't,
good ole Mr. greenrobes should have a battery to keep the power flowing
foir a while. If it's small, he'll probably need to take a couple,
depending on how long he'll be there and how often he thinks he'll need
the more impressive and draining powers, but he should be able to keep a
few- it would also be good

to give him a few extra "rad-batteries"- that way, if he gets a few really
loyal goons to follow him around, he can bring them into the radiation
infested fold when he finds it convenient- imagine the heroes' surprise
(and the Templar's too!!) when, after a close call or two where the
Doomsayer escaped, they corner him, only to find that they're not up
against one Doomsayer, but a whole gang (Moooowhhaaahahahaha!!!) Just make
sure that the overall supply is in a good hideout- 3 reasons: 1) keep the
norms away- people dying foir reasons nobody understands tends to make
people angry and afraid- good for the Reckoners, bad for the person trying
to be sneaky.... plus all of the attention the Tombstone Epitaph will give
to an unexplained epidemic of s bizarre "sickness" will lead the posse
right to the hideout- probably not what you had in mind. 2) Don't want the
party to find it lying around before you can have some fun using it... and
3) If it's in a well hidden, well protected hideout (as the posessions of
any good cult should be...) you can keep it there until the posse mounts a
final desparate assault on the area, and then use the last of the
radiation in whatever batteries are left to soop up the head Doomsayers
powers for a truly terrifying fire fight.
