Here's how I do things for my game;

1) If their guts are equal to or greater than the TN of the Terror Table
they auto succeed it.

2) Looking at the Terror Table on the Rad Screen you see 6 "levels" (lack of
a better term) each with a TN of 2 higher than the last and starting at 3.
For each level of Grit a character has in my game they ignore one "level" of
the Terror Table (i.e.. a character with 3 Grit wouldn't roll in my game
unless the TN was 9 [Supernatural critter or a mutilated corpse])
