[HoE] head shots?!?

>>Also, it's likely that w/ both, death wasn't caused by a Maiming head
>>wound. Lincoln for example, lingered on for many hours after being shot
>>and it's believed that improper treatment by doctors sealed his fate.
>>Basically, he took say a Serious Noggin' wound that increased to Critical

>>Hickock took a more serious wound, likely a Critical that also likely cost
>>him a lot of Wind so that he quickly died of blood loss before medical
>>care could be administered. In both cases, enough gray matter was left for
>>the Manitou to do its thing.

Nice try, but I'm not sure if I buy it. I don't know about Hickock, but
I've read a thing or two about Lincoln's assassination. While the gun that
Booth used was small, it fired a ball "about the size of your thumb." At
point blank range, it would have blown the back of his head clean off. It
one of those funny things about the brain, you actually have to destroy a
very specific part of it to make you're heart stop beating. I think that's
why he didn't die right off, but dead he would have been one way or the
other. Again I ain't a doctor, I just know what I read.
