[HoE] My campaign and this jedi nonsense
Sorry about how long the info on the campaign was but Im looking for ideas
and help from anybody willing and nice enough to offer some. Does it sound
good so far? I actually have two other generic road gangs. One is called the
Jackals and they are good guys part of the COnvoy in fact and the other is
called the Vipers and they have a mysterious enigmatic leader called
Set.(He's a new age shaman, but the book with the rules for the HOE shaman
hasnt come out yet I think) Anyways please send comments or advice to me. I
would love help on how to make the plot better and ideas for continuing
plots which lead up to my overall goal of the campaign.
As for this Jedi nonsense, I also thought of a Jedi character except all he
has is a lightsaber. Hes a junker who is a starwars junkie, hes a old "die
hard loser/virgin at age 40 type." He has no stupid force powers or anything
he is just a junker who's inventions relate to starwars. I dont think there
needs to be any Jedi type archtype with anything new. Just sounds like a
attempt to powergame and make things more difficult. I realise nobody has
actualled asked for anything new but I've dealt with people like that and
games like that, like Rifts(cool idea, crappy system). Also if anyone owns
the Templar book the templars kinda are already like Jedi. Except they arent
as goody tooshoes but I think a templar with the heroic flaw and some other
flaws and edges might work. Also have you seen the Anti-templars? Can you
say Dark Side? Or Darth Vader? They seem pretty close to Dark Jedi in a way.
I have played the star wars RPG and in a way these guys get "Dark side
points" except its "corruption" or something and its from the reckoners.
Slowly turns them into servitors.
