Hmm, except these are _rations_.  By definition, stuff that you "ration."  
Wouldn't the one-day usage already be figured in?

To say that somehow these can be stretched up to three days doesn't make 
much sense.  Plus, from what I understand of existing military rations, 
they're not the kind of thing you can partially mix up, store away, and eat 
the next day.

It's just the kind of thing I've asked Pinnacle about, but haven't received 
an answer on.  Knowing whether or not you can divide your food costs by a 
third is something that, needless to say, my players are kinda curious to 
know.

Plus, it affects other things.  For instance, if you Scrounge for a day's 
food, get extra, and want to sell it, the Milrat cost is about as close to 
determining the "base" cost for a day's food as you can get.  How much money 
players can get from that is something else they'd like to know...
