[HoE] Question #2 of the Day - Powerup

Okay, so we had two questions today.

Powerup - we're a little unclear on this one.

First of all, it says it works on "any device that requires electricity."
But then it lists "battery power" (by which we assume they mean batteries -
probably C cells based on the easy TN) and generators. Ummm, a battery does
not require electricity, it _stores_ electricity. And a generator
_generates_ electricity - it typically "requires" gas, water, steam, nuclear
rods, or something along those lines.

It's also not clear if the Doomsayer must _remain_ in touch with the item
for the full duration. If he were pumping power into a flashlight battery
for storage purposes (as the miracle seems to allow), does he really have to
stay in contact with that flashlight battery to allow it to function? Or if
the item is a storage device, can he simply "store" his power in it and then
leave. Just curious, as Doomsayers wanting to power up small communities to
demonstrate the good wishes of the Glow might not want to have to sit on
that generator for the whole 8 hours.

Also, can you power up items that require electricity, but have no
capability to store, transmit, or maintain power themselves? A computer,
for instance, probably has a small battery, and a nice accessible cord that
the Doomsayer could grab and pump power into. No problem.

Ditto for an Electric Car or Hovertank. The Doomsayer may or may not have
to actually touch the battery, but the car is electrically wired and
conducive to transmitting electricity throug itself.

But what about, say, a lamp? Could a Doomsayer just rip a flourescent tube
out of a wall socket, hold it in his hand, and use it for illumination
("Pull a Fester" is the term we've used, as I've permitted this to date).

And getting back to the storage/touch question...once the Doomsayer "powers
up" that light bulb for an hour, could he hand it off to someone else and
would the item remain its charge for that hour?

Just curious how people handle this and/or have seen it handled. This
miracle seems to imply there's a "storage" component to it (the reference to
batteries and generators). But if there's storage involved, then does Touch
need to be maintained throughout the duration?
