For some reason, it reminds me of a picture in the main rulebook for
"Battlelords of the 23rd Century" of a "used armor shop" featuring a sign
that prominently stated that "we hose it out for you".

In the old Car Wars game, normal body armor and improved body armor didn't
protect you from impacts.  One of the Autoduel Quarterly Q&A sections
specifically said that you could salvage BA and IBA from somebody who died
from falling/car impacts, as long as you hosed it out.

Ewwww....
