[HoE] Lost Colony da da da daaaaaaahhhhhhh

This excerpt from Tom's Steam Walker background motivated me to ask ya'll
something...

>The only thing madder than weird science might be alien science. Has the
>Reckoning spread throughout our galaxy, throughout our universe? Who can
>say. Most folks can hardly spare the time to watch the stars anymore,
>fearing what shadows may cross below them far more than what oddities might
>live amongst them.

GenCon is upon us and in addition to Matt Forbeck's big barn stormer this
time of year always reminds me of other premieres. Namely, last years HoE
and next years Lost Colony.
As I left the civilian world (and our beloved list) just after HoE came
out I missed all the hullaballo I'm sure followed it off your hobby store
shelves.

So I pose this question:
What do we think Lost Colony will be like?
What would you like to see in it?
Shane may be hard pressed for time but sometime in the next 4 (6?) months
he's gonna start the third episode. OK so the schedual may change but
eventually....

Will it be a departure - a lost world (ala the TV show) - where a lot of
the old rules don't apply anymore (e.g. the reckoning)
Or will it be the third and final chapter in a trilogy - following that
classic sci-fi and fantasy pattern.

Is Lost Colony Shane's chance to use a well built system for a Scif-Fi game?
Or is it a crucial part in a broad story arc - in which Deadlands the Weird
West was just a backstory.....

I wanna hear your thoughts. And when I do I'll let loose with mine as I'll
be convinced someone will actually read em (smiles) after GenCon of course.

alia iacta est!

P.S. of course it's probably a little of all the above but lemme getta
witness!!
