One of the things I keep thinking about the time travel thing for the
Reckoners is that they did it when they had basically lost earth and
therefore had very limited power.  I haven't remembered to check my rule
book, but I think I remember it saying they used the last of their power
(or some wording like that) to accomplish Stone's little jaunt.  If they
were in a weakened state, they didn't have as much power available as just
before the end of the world (when the tunnel was made).

Another of the things I keep thinking about time travel:  The Reckoners did
it without the benefit of technology (or such is the impression I've
gotten) - they opened a gate into the hunting grounds and guided Stone
through.  Jackie Wells seemed to manage the trip okay with a time machine.
Also, a time machine is listed on the mad scientist chart in the Weird
West.  Maybe the Reckoners had a manitou deceive Hellstromme into thinking
he was building a distance machine when he was really building a time
machine.

Sorry - I'm confusing threads between the two lists.  The Cackler is
mentioned in passing in one of the Devil's Tower trilogy.  He is a harrowed
who is vastly older than Stone.  I believe it is hinted that there are
other harrowed who are older than Stone, in addition to the Cackler.  The
Cackler is a remnant from the last time the Reckoners were active on earth.
There has been recent speculation on the Weird West list as to when he was
made.
