No it does not take up slots because the device is allready built you are 
tacking on armor to a finished device. That is if you are going the road 
warrors road. If you are using the armor power then slots are taken up.

Depends on the vehicle

I would say yes. As to how to factor it in start with the finished product 
and take your numbers from there.
