Sigh.  Of course you can use such things in HoE (with a "twist" of
modification) - not saying you couldn't or shouldn't (nice book BTW,
Steve).  Legends, tall tales and myths come to life is a major theme of
the Deadlands game, and I draw from them a lot in my HoE campaign.  My
disagreement was with using (specifically) the Paul Bunyan legend "as
is" - the size factor (IMHO) makes the idea seem silly.  I thought Grimm
was considering it by the way he phrased his ax discussion in an earlier
post.  But enough already.  Apparently this wasn't the case, so
misunderstandings all around (sorry I misunderstood your intentions
Grimm - they weren't clear at the time).
