[HoE] The Death of Raven (a Major Mistake.)
- (Groan) I thought we had already beaten this one to death. (Sigh) talk
about kicking an undead horse. Alright, let's see if I can recap this
turkey.
<<A lot easier to deal with them when they decided to go after Raven (and
succeeded.)

<blink><blink> Pardon, have my ears stoped working again?......Did you say
your posse took on and killed Raven?......

-COUPLE O' SPOILERS IN HERE
- First my original posse (who I plan to restart this Christmas,) was from
the old school, all very experienced gamers that were looking for something
different. Along came DL and rest was history. We played almost everyweek.
Anyway, going by the old bounty point system it didn't take long for them
to turn into a real team of mega-Munchkins.
After about two years of play they decided that they were powerful enough
to go after the loser that started this whole mess, and I made the mistake
of going along with it, I figured it would make for an interesting quest.
So how did they do it? Well they did two things.
#1: they lead the Prospector to Raven little Fountian of Youth. Where he,
the groups huckster, and shaman did a little mojo to seal it off from ole'
Mr. Raven forever.
#2: they forced a confrontation between Coyote and Raven, and Coyote sealed
Raven's soul in the Hunting Ground, but not before the posse's Harrowed
Assassin did a number on his bodyguards and shot out his eyes with a pair of
blessed silver rounds, it was quite a battle actually.
Anyway, I've decided that they actually didn't destroy his body
(completely) and his cult has spirited him away to bring him back another
day. And you know how grumpy he's gonna be after he wakes up from that nap
(hee, hee ;)
