Each raise above a d12 adds +2 to the die type. When calculating the amount
lifted, just add the total bonus to 12. A syker who got a result of d12+4 for
instance, would have an effective Strength of 16, and could lift 320 pounds
according to the Load Table.
As far as the Load Table being too low, the weights on the table were meant
to be those that a hero could lift and move around with for an extended
period of time. Maximum weights a hero can lift would be closer to Strength X
50. While carrying such weights, the hero has a Pace of 2 and takes 1d4 Wind
per round.
