I don't have City O' Gloom handy right now (I keep most of my Deadlands
stuff at the apartment of the posse member who hosts our gaming group) but
if I remember correctly the leg needs a 3 ounce piece of ghost rock for
every month of operation. With the way my campaign has gone it has ended
up that most of the ghost rock mines in the area my posse operates in are
held by hostile forces, who guard the mines well enough that the posse
can't simply sneak in and steal some ghost rock. Also, the players are
leery of carrying any quantity of ghost rock, after an unfortunate
experience with an exploding flamethrower and eighty pounds of ghost rock,
so the posse isn't interested in hauling ghost rock around unless
absolutely necessary. That's why I asked about the ability of Junkyard's
doctors to implant a non-junker prosthetic, as I understand they run on
electricity rather than ghost rock.
