While writing this adventure, a line from "The Stand" popped into my head.
(Paraphrasing) "History tells us that in times of plague, people flocked to
the churches."  Well, since Big Whiskey is in the grips of a plague, I've
decided that most of the townsfolk will be in church when the Posse arrives,
and went looking for a suitable verse from the Bible to be the subject of that
day's sermon.

My search took me to the Book of Lamentations, Chapter Three, which I sat down
and read through,
and decided that it was perfect HoE material.  As carefully, and stepping on
as few toes as possible, I recommend checking it out.  Dangerous territory
here, I know, but I'm planning on delivering the sermon for effect when they
arrive.
