Good question! I retrofitted a school bus last night. If you figure by the
book, each "occupant" takes up 70 slots. Normally a bus carries 44 kids and
a bus driver (one of the PC's is a school bus driver in real life). We
figured that 2/3 of that capacity would account for the adult passengers, or
roughly 30 adults x 70 slots =2100 slots. Now if you go by the chart, a
school "bus" has 1715 slots. As I was trying to gain space to fit all my
Junker crap, it was relevant to only tear out some of the seating. The next
question is, how much material does the old stuff give you for raw
materials? Each seat is roughly human sized as far as cubic material, but
again, retro-factoring the math just doesn't pan out. My GM is pretty
flexible, but he doesn't want to give me ghost rock for free either, much
less components. So wassup?
