[HoE] Junker stuff! Or Road Warror.. sorta. (Question)

Howdy.
If a Junker wished to rebuild an already operational car into
another type of transport, such as walker or such, how would they have
to go about it?
I know the number of slots that the frame size grants but this
assumes an empty frame. Would the junker have to gut the car and simply
use the frame and all the components they gathered and rebuild it into a
junker device from scratch? Or could they rebuild sections and let the
remain stay as is?

One example is that the Junker wishes to build agility into a car
they have captured. The car is in good shape and not missing any major
pieces. (Needed to run that is!) The Agility power uses up slots on the
car of course but how many free slots does a normal vehicle have. I
could use load points but they don't really fit this. Or have a rating
that can be easily determined. I could rebuild the car as if it were a
Junker Locomotion device to see how many slots would be left over. But
that seems a like a lot of trouble if it had to be done for every
vehicle to be modified. :)
How much weight is a load point? ... be nice to know as it would help
determine the load costs on externally mounted items and such not listed
in the book. The only notes I saw on this was in RW and dealt with the
load in a Tractor trailer. And it was limited.
