One of my favorites was uttered by our very own MGKelly.  The PCs came to a
town just as people started dying horribly.  The townsfolk, scared and
xenophobic, went after the PCs because, well, " . . . an' as soon as you
show up people start gettin' kilt!"

    "But it was just two women."

Needless to say, this did not help their case.
