Re: [HoE] new templar power

Hey there,
+1 AV is a bit strong. Leave it to +1 to hit bonus, +1 defensive bonus,
+1 damage overall, +1d6 damage vs. a specific type of monster, or 1 level
of armor piercing against a specific monster. And for 2 points, the weapon
gains one level of armor piercing overall - able to negate one level of
armor off of it's target.
After 5 levels paid for in this, the weapon is going to be a mighty one.
The cool part is that this ties in with the ceremony for the new Templar
where the squire gets handed a weapon from a previous Templar, and the
squire has to recite the story of the previous Templar(s).

Ooh. Each time a Templar sword gets handed down, it could be granted one
of these powers. IE - the Sword of Bob - Werewolf Killer - has +1d6
damage vs. Werewolves, 1 level AP vs. Werewolves, and +1 DB.

Why did the chicken cross the road?

Arthur Dent:
Are you sure the chicken is from Beetelgeuse, and not from Gilford after
all?
