Dude, IT'S A PICTURE.  I'm sure all the less-than gorgeous road bikers you
envision all have wonderful and interesting personalities, but they're
extras in the great plot of Deadlands, and we never get to see their
personalities.  They're just there, and as long as they're just there, I'd
rather stare at a picture of some attractive people than some who are not.

My GOD but some of the people on this listserv are a bunch of wussies.  If
I'm gonna pay $25 for a book, I would much rather that the women in the book
look more like Catherine Zeta Jones than Lily Tomlin, but I'm SURE that you
have pictures of her plastered all over your room, because she's so
INTERESTING.

Please.  Attractive people are more fun to look at, pure and simple.  You
can say what you want about personality, but there ain't no personality.
IT'S A PICTURE.
