Well, sorry about the misunderstanding. The adventure at Origins was called 
Mile High March, which sounded a lot like what you were talking about.

The adventure was quite poor, in my opinion. Basically the characters are 
taken hostage as the adventure begins, and railroaded (or "trucked") by the 
Combine (with all of their gear taken away). Eventually the Combine troops 
get their collective rears booted by a goofy abomination straight out of 
Deliverance. It was designed to introduce new players in the game. The sad 
part is, most of the main elements that make up HoE were lacking. And the 
plot totally throws out established rules and plotlines. I don't know if 
there is a printed version, but if their is, I'd pay to get rid of it.
