Ah, that bit of weirdness that is the old Marvel RPG. : } Actually, most 
people I play with didn't start on D&D either. The first games a lot of us 
started out on were various ones put out by Palladium (With the interesting 
exception of Rifts). I'd played half a dozen different games before I ever 
got close to a D&D campaign.

Now the only game we're still playing is HOE. There's just something about 
supernatural western and apocalypse games that keep us coming back.
