Re: [HOE] Possible bibliopath characters [Marshals]
Well,
As much as I love Doc Savage, as a Marshal i'm not sure if I would allow him. Just because well, he's pretty darn powerful. I would say D12s for most of his traits, and the ones that were not would be d10. Not to mention the tons of skills, and the possibility of Arcane Background Junker.
Although now that I think about it would be interesting to see how Doc would rebuild humanity.Would He rebuild his academy, where captured crooks were sent too? Give him some serious 5 point obligation hindrances. Also it might be interesting to see How Doc and Jo (or Simon) would react to each other.
Also whoever suggested Solomon Kane. Anothern interesting suggestion. Which I think might be workable. Kane is a favorite of mine. And probably one of Howard's best characters.
Tyler Durden? Was a he a bad guy? Yes and No. I think he would love the Post-War world. He might be less of a bad guy here. Because most of the things he was fighting against have been destroyed. So yeah I think he would help out the simple farming settlements and places like that. I think he wouldn't like Junkyard though. Also I could see him butting heads with Joe or Simon and the rest of the Templars. One things for sure high Mien and high Fightin Brawlin, and Demolitions aptitudes.
Lets see other ideas?
Bud White from L.A. Confidential (The Ellroy Book),Hawk (From Rober B Parker's Spenser Novels), Joe Pike (From Robert Crais's Elvis Cole Novels), and Bubba Rogowski (From Dennis Lehane's Kenzie and Gennaro novels). What do you guys think?
Thanks,
Dave
