Here's an idea to wrap you minds around.

As I said, in my world Solomon Kane was a real person, but there is at least
one Librarian who has channeled him.  See, I figure even if a person was
real, if they were used as a character in a *fiction* book, then that is a
separate fictional entity from the real person.

So here's the deal to throw at your party.  A Librarian who has channeled
and gotten lost in...

Ronan Lynch.  Star of several dime novels.

Make the guy close enough in appearance to keep them wondering.  He's been
into Lynch so long that he's sold off his palmcorder and other equipment for
a couple of Peacemakers (remember Lynch has poverty as a Hindrance).  All he
remembers is fighting some "ugly critter in front of what looked like a
window ta Hell itself."  The posse may believe he came through the Hunting
Grounds (the Librarian was just trying to close a portal to the HG).

Think about it, if there's a Templar in the group, will he or she take the
"Martyr" to Boise to be fawned upon?  This would really work if played after
"The Boise Horror".  After all, Simon was the only one to have Saint Ronan,
he could have come back after Simon died.  Couldn't he?
