Man, too bad most of my reading involves non-combative characters. I mean, 
Bertie Wooster? Winston Smith from 1984? Arthur Dent? Mr.M or Tracy Flick 
from Election? I mean, come on. Talk about pathetic. 

The only one that comes to mind is Marian Alston from Island in the Sea of 
Time...
