Harrowed and cyborgs can become mutated. This is because the radiation created by ghost rock bombs is both spiritual and physical radiation. That's why all the spirits got all messed up when the ghost rock bombs hit. Thus, a Harrowed's spirit can still get all warped and twisted by ghost rock radiation, and the symptoms show up physically. Or something like that.
