I agree wholeheartedly. I guess it all comes down to how you Marshall, but
I've always been one for grim, gritty, and deadly roleplaying. HoE is no
exception, and the Black Hats are some of the worst enemies I've thrown
against my posses. Sure, they might be "goons," but they have a human
thought process that a lot of nasty critters don't. One posse decided to try
and face an equal number of the Black Hats on an open stretch of desert. The
result was most of the posse was dead or dying. Cruel as that might be, I
like real over pulp, and making Black Hats easy to clip is totally against
my book.
