Believe me, you don't want to go there. That is, if you're a Marshall. I
could see why you might want it to be that way if you are PLAYING a
Templar...
I'm a Marshall for a group that includes a Templar, the famed "Violence
Jack" that started the whole "Why would a Doomsayer target a person with a
Nuke when he could target right next to him?" thread when he batted a nuke
right back at the doombringer that launched it. At the time, I thought it
was great.
Then the player cried shenanigans on me when this situation happened:
He and the posse are riding down the road, everyone piled in the truck,
Jack on his motorcycle. As they go over an overpass, a group of mutants on
motorcycles and in a jeep race up the freeway onramp to attack. One of the
mutants is a greenie with the CHain Brain power, which he has been using in
raids to make drivers crash, and attempts to use it on Jack, motorcycle
driver.
Jack's player calls "shenanigans" on me when I judge that he has to be
aware of the power to deflect it. The idea that you need to vamoose, yet
don't have to be aware of an invisible mental power targeting your mind as
you are are driving down the road...
Really, it's best not to open that can of worms.
