Go away players - this is for marshals only.

Well, aside from using the adventure provided in the back of the book,
you could have them get captured by chaindogs, brought to Denver as
slaves, and have them try to escape (check out the marshal's section on
Camp Freedom, page 64, for some ideas on how to set that into motion).
One could also start an adventure with all of the characters being
members of the resistance (or steel knights if you want a high powered
"wahoo" session with lots of bots).

Actually, the "challenge" of getting the posse into Denver isn't
neccessarily the marshal's problem...it's the posse's. Besides, getting
in is easy...it's the getting out part that's the pain in the butt (and
again, the posse's challenge). The marshal's problem rather is coming
up with hooks that will inspire the posse to actually want to attempt
going there...it's got to be worth the risk. Denver isn't the place to
attempt hit and run scavenging, hoping to just turn up something good.
The adventure provided with the book ("Air Force One is Down", for those
marshals without the book yet...yes it deals with the story behind the
President's missing jet, and yes you _need_ to buy the Denver book to
find out more...tease, tease, tease...) does a good job of providing a
reason to go there, as well as detailing means of getting in and out..
