RE: [HOE] Doomsayer vs. Syker

A Doomsayer faces a Syker in an "old fashioned high noon" style duel in
the middle of a wasteland town using only their powers. An agreement is
made between the two beforehand for no "mass damage" powers - neither
will use them for fear of damaging the town. No physical weapons (such
as glowsticks or firearms) can be used, and no "pre-charging" powers are
allowed before the stroke of noon. Otherwise, the duel is to be to the
death. Not knowing either individual or their powers, who would you put
your money on and why?

Hi Matt!

First to answer your question. I would choose the one with the Level Headed
Edge or if both or neither had it, the one with the higher Quickness.

Why? Because both, more than likely, have the ability to kill a single
person in one action. It's who gets to take their action first that will
determine who wins. Of course, my decision depends on the actual "duel"
rule, no Fate Chips spent to reduce damage. Anyway, that's my call.

On a side note, my wife and I have brought a new gamer in the world as of
8-18-01, Bethany Elaine Black. If you think I'm kidding about the gamer
thing, my 21 month old's first sentence was, "I love dice." I am not
kidding.

Hmm, maybe I should get my daughters together with Shane's sons. They could
start the first pre-school gaming group. :)
