[HOE] Emission Control Device Idea?

Hey Gang -

We had an odd thought come up during last night's session that may or
may not be useful for a creative marshal.  I misremember the exact date
these things were installed on many makes of cars, but emission control
devices (that might not be precisely what they were/are called, but uts
close) were/are an attempt to diminish air pollution in urban centers
where there is a lot of vehicluar traffic.  Deadlands-wise, I'd imagine
these "filters" would manage to store up some pretty nasty stuff if
built into a spook juice powered vehicle.  If removed from said car,
what do you suppose some uses for a "used" emission control device would
be?  Anyone care to bat some ideas around?
