[HOE] Re: Munchkin Maker

<Yup thats how it is...whites can be spent...as many as you have...one red
and one blue can only ever be spent per roll....and believe you me...it
pisses off your players...when they spent both and still miss the TN by
one...lol its great...(c:

I really appreciate all of the advice, and you're right, I've been far too
nice with the chips. My posses uses the Deadland Lite rules and I've gotten
a bit to lenient with the chips because of it. I can see now that that was
a mistake, especially cuz I like to reward chips for good role-playing,
(something my main posse does very well.)
As far as Mr. Munchkin is concerned I'm responible for making him a cyborg,
and I did so becuase his choice of Harrowed powers made him uncontrolable,
and his new AI really has his number. It was the only way I could see to
reign him in, without using the 'Stone's Hit List' he picked up from the
Veteran o' the Weird West hinderances. I like my heroes to go out in blaze
o' glory, but he knows if he goes to far, I'm gonna have Mr. Stone pay him a
visit.
As far as the Vampire goes, here's what we (as a posse,) decided (this is
for a new Wierd West posse by the way.) We rolled up a traditional
gunslinger with no special powers, no knacks, nothing but his hogleg and a
bit of streetsmarts. Then we decided on the very first adventure Mr.
uber-vampire was going to get killed off by the gunslinger and Frank's(the
munckin maker) old, mega-powerful munchkin character. We will then hand him
the gunslinger and tell him the truth - we all like him, but we hate the
characters he creates. We would like to see how he does with one that is
literally "nobody special." Fortunately, Frank is a good-natured soul and
we think that he'll just laugh and say okay.
I would like to know if any of you feel that this is a bit heavy-handed
though. I'll admit I'm at my wits end, I've already had to cut loose
another posse member for being outta control. I lost another one thanks to
the war in Afganistan. And the truth is I like Frank, but he just won't
listen to me. So what's your take on the situtation?
-Gus

P.S. Frank isn't the Munchkin Makers real name for any of you that may be
concern about liability.
