Let 'em do it. I'm answering this because it raises a general point--what do you do when players come into a large amount of money--no matter how hard you try not to let them?

One piece of advice, let them buy something big with it. A vehicle, a gun, a junker weapon, etc. Charge 'em through the nose but let them that Templar have a +1/+1 sword that costs $100,000. Gets rid of their money, they get something cool--but not neccesarily overbalancing, and the game moves on. In fact, they'll be even hungrier for that big payoff if they know they can something good and not just have it taken away or stolen. Just make sure the items are incredibly expensive. Yes, a sword +1/+1 should probably be around $100K. Who'd give up a magic sword? Even though +1/+1 isn't that incredible rules-wise, it's MAGIC. ;O
