[HOE] AP Ammo Versus Light Armour

Normal light armour, such as a leather jacket (-4), offers no protection 
against AP ammo.
Is this still true of light armour created by mystical means, such as that 
of a syker's 'Force Field' power?
If the syker gets a couple or three raises, and gets 20 points of light 
armour, it seems unreasonable that this would offer no protection at all!
Should, for example, every 10 points of light armour equate to an AV level?
