One thing to be careful of is that the soldiers don't come along to the
Unity, or else the whole murder, murder, murder thing becomes pointless.
Although I guess there are several options here:

1. Kill off all the soldiers before they get to the end. The danger here
is that it might look too contrived or the players might catch on ("OK,
we've only got one "red-shirt" left, we must be near the end.")

2. Have most/some of the soldiers survive, and then when you get to the
murder, murder, murder and some genius PC pipes up that they should just
off an NPC all those well trained soldiers that have worked together as a
unit for years suddenly turn on the PCs. That could be interesting...
