Well The death is pretty near to the end of the Adventure.  After the 
engines are started there is just a few encounters and then the bridge.

Like I said having NPCs in the party isn't a bad idea.  So then the dead 
characters player can take one of them over.  But then again why don't the 
player just kill one of the NPCs(unless they are my players, who have this 
massive NPC fetish).

My thought would be to send the Dead guys player out to pick up pizza :). 
J/K  I actually don't plan on running mine until after LC has come out.  I 
figure the player who dies can get first dibs on looking through the book 
and making the first new LC guy(I figure after the Syker Blob, there will be 
a few other new guys).  Not a great solution.  I actually hate leaving a 
player out of the end battle.  Does anyone have a better suggestion.
