Bingo.  That's exactly what it's used for.  Or rather, was supposed to be
used for.  It never actually got to Banshee in time.

Eh.  It all depends.  An ounce of ghost rock provides enough fuel for a
50-round clip, and you can cast your own rounds...I don't see it as any more
expensive than buying smokeless powder, getting the cases reloaded and
primed, etc.

Not quite.  All a magnum round is is one with an increased powder load.  If
I recall, the Wasted West book divides gunpowder up into "units" when
reloading rounds; regular rounds take one unit of powder, magnum rounds take
two units.
